After her character was written out of Under the Dome two years ago, Britt Robertson embraced movie auditions over television roles and she’s been all over the big screen since. You might have caught her in Tomorrowland or The Longest Ride last year, but she’s heading back to the serial format for Netflix. She’ll lead the cast of Girlboss.

The series is based on the book of the same name by Sophia Amoruso, and it’s also based on events in the author’s own life as she rose through the ranks in the fashion and retail industry. (Amoruso is the founder the Nasty Gal brand.) Robertson will star as Sophia, an anarchist who refuses to grow up, but finds herself broke. She decides to begin selling vintage clothing online and begins to build her own fashion empire. Along the way, Sophia discovers what being the boss of her own life really means.

Amoruso is involved in the Netflix series as a producer, and so are a few other names you might recognize. Actress Charlize Theron is producing with Laverne McKinnon of the Denver and Delilah production house. Kay Cannon, the name behind such projects as Pitch Perfect, is also on board as a producer and the showrunner. Christian Ditter, director of such films as Love, Rosie and How To Be Single, is not only on board as a producer, but will also serve as the primary director for the 13 episode series.

Girlboss will land on Netflix in 2017.

You might still be able to catch Robertson in theaters in Mother’s Day in select areas, but she’s also got The Space Between Us out in August and Mr. Church out in September. She’s also completed work on A Dog’s Purpose, set to hit theaters in January 2017.
